To become resilient you need to take action. Try to take control of your obstacles. Attack them and get them out of your way. Seek support. Connect with other people.

To build resilience, figure out your motivation. Set goals and track your progress. Use healthy thinking. Identify your obstacles, learn from your past experiences, and plan ahead. Connect with other writers and be part of a community. Take care of your body. Eat, sleep, and more to be in your power. To build a habit of writing and not rely on willpower, you need to repeat it. Start small, maybe just a few words. And when it becomes part of your routine, set your goal a little higher.

Chapter Seven/Eight, page 109

Try to establish triggers for writing. For example, have a coffee and then start. Treat yourself after writing, celebrate what you've accomplished, track your progress, don't be too hard on yourself. If you miss a day, the habit is not lost.
