Humans are goal setting creatures. Use affirmations, use visualization, make your goals SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, Terminated), think big by setting goals. And most importantly, do the work. Just thinking about your goals will not help. You have to do your work to achieve them.

Take small steps to create a writing habit. And look for the most fun way. The lower the stakes, the easier it is to achieve your goals.

Distractions disrupt the writing and thinking process. Reduce distractions as much as possible.

Try to get ahead of your distractions. Put away your phone, turn off the wifi, go into a quiet room. Whatever works for you.
