Regular testing/quizzing after a lecture leads to better learning results and also reduces anxiety and stress before real exams.
October 8th, 2023
Lectures must include breaks in between. New information need time to consolidate. Massive amounts of newly learned things don’t help as much. Small chunks are more effective.
October 9th, 2023
Switching between topics while learning trains our discrimination skills. It also gives us a break to let the new information to sink in.
October 10th, 2023
Again, switching learning topics before you master a skill will generaly contribute to a faster progress rather than doing something exhausting.
